Getting support

A practical path for diagnosing Starchild issues, checking your container, and reaching the team when you need help.

Start with the agent

Ask the agent to diagnose the problem from the actual context. Include what you were trying to do, what happened, the exact error, and what changed. Useful prompts include: "Diagnose this issue and show me the likely cause," "Check recent errors and connection status," and "Tell me what you need from me to reproduce this."

Run /doctor mode

Use /doctor when you want a structured health check. It can audit container health, proxy status, and active connections, then point to the next diagnostic step. Share the resulting findings when escalating instead of summarizing them from memory.

Check container metrics

Ask the agent to inspect the container directly for memory usage, disk space, running processes, and relevant service status. If the issue is intermittent, include when it happened and ask for the recent logs or status evidence around that time. Do not paste secrets, tokens, or private keys into a support request.

Contact the team on Telegram

If self-diagnosis does not resolve the issue, contact the Starchild team in the official Telegram group: t.me/iamstarchild. Include your agent number, a short description, the exact error, the result of /doctor, and any relevant container metrics. Remove credentials and other sensitive data before sharing.
