This is not a feature tour. It's a guide to the one session that determines whether Starchild becomes part of your workflow.

Pick something that normally takes 20+ minutes

Summarizing a long document, turning a messy spreadsheet into a report, writing a first draft, researching a topic, building a quick dashboard. These are the tasks where the time savings are immediately obvious.

Give it context, not instructions

Instead of "make a summary", try: "here's the investor report from last quarter — what are the three biggest risks mentioned?" The more specific and grounded your request, the better the output. Attach the file. Paste the link. Give it something to work with.

Don't perfect the first output

Ask for what you need, see what comes back, then say "make it shorter", "add a section on X", or "turn this into bullet points." Iteration is faster than engineering the perfect prompt upfront.

Teach it one thing before you leave

Tell it one preference that makes the next session better: "Keep answers under 3 paragraphs." "I prefer tables." "I work in crypto." These compound over time.

What costs money and what does not

Model calls use credits. Simple tasks on lighter models cost very little. Conductor Mode handles model selection automatically. It picks the cheapest model that gets the job done well. You will not accidentally burn credits on a task that does not need a heavy model.
