What uses credits
Model calls are the main cost. Each agent reply uses credits based on the model and the amount of text. Heavy reasoning on long documents costs more than a quick question to a lighter model.
Smart Routing keeps costs low automatically
On the default setting, Smart Routing picks the cheapest model that handles the task well. A simple question does not invoke an expensive reasoning model. You only pay for what the task actually needs.
How to estimate what you will spend
Casual use — some research, writing, occasional code — runs under $10/month for most people. Heavy use with large documents, complex analysis, and frequent back-and-forth will cost more. Check session usage to see exactly what each conversation cost.
Credits do not expire
Unused credits carry over. No monthly reset, no subscription, no hidden fees. Top up when you need more.
